Seminole County had five local high schools represent their schools at the Cross-Country Regional meets this past Saturday. North Rock Creek hosted Seminole in 4A and Konawa in 2A. Konawa’s Tanner Johnson and Rebeckah Sitton qualified for State.

The Bowlegs Bison get their sixth win of the season with a shutout 52-0 victory over Midway Saturday night. Bowlegs hosted the Midway Chargers in a lopsided win in a football game that only lasted until halftime. The Bison won the toss and elected to receive the ball.

The Sasakwa Vikings are back on track in the winning category with a big road victory over Graham- Dustin Friday night. The Vikings dominated the game from the start. Sasakwa racked up 30 points in the first quarter as the defense held Graham scoreless in the quarter.

OKLAHOMA CITY — Deflecting a pass from Trae Young, Alex Caruso collected a steal. He gave the basketball to Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and set a screen for the MVP runner-up, who splashed in a pull-up 3-pointer. The defense-to-offense sequence served as the dagger.

On Friday, Oct. 25, the 11 ranked Seminole Chieftains welcomed the 3rd ranked Sulphur Bulldogs into Chieftain Stadium for a high stakes district showdown (rankings provided by MaxPreps). The Bulldogs proved to be too much for an injured Seminole squad.
