Sasakwa Vikings Win Big Road Game With Graham-Dustin Friday Night
The Sasakwa Vikings are back on track in the winning category with a big road victory over Graham- Dustin Friday night. The Vikings dominated the game from the start. Sasakwa racked up 30 points in the first quarter as the defense held Graham scoreless in the quarter.
In the second quarter, the Vikings scored 22 more points to put the game away. Towards the end of the quarter, linebacker Joseph Lunn intercepted the ball and ran it back 60-yards for the picksix. Lunn had added an early birthday present to himself with a touchdown on his birthday.
Graham-Dustin managed to put six points on the board to avoid a shutout but had enough of the offensive attack of the Vikings and the game was called at the half.
The Sasakwa Vikings won 52-6.
On offense, quarterback Thad Harjo went 5 of 6 passing for 193 yards and 4 touchdowns. Harjo also had one carry for 15 yards.
Receiving, Titan Collins had 4 catches for 173 yards and three TDS and Titus Harper-Collins had one catch for 20 yards and one TD.
Rushing, Titus had one carry for 14 yards, Joseph Lunn had 4 carries for 22 yards, 2 TDs and 4 twopoint conversions. Lunn also had an interception for a touchdown.
Defense, Brayden Lamb had 7 tackles, 2 for a loss and one interception for 8 yards. Joseph Lunn had 6 tackles, one for a loss and one interception for a 60-yard touchdown and Titus Harper-Collins had 4 tackles and one for a loss.
The Sasakwa defense only allowed 54 yards of offense for Graham- Dustin. November 1st will be Senior Night for the Vikings as they take on the Welch Wildcats. The game is set to kickoff at 7 p.m.
