Wewoka Fall Short Friday Night Against Okemah

The Wewoka Tigers hosted the Okemah Panthers Friday night in their fourth home game of the season. The Tigers and Lady Tigers fought hard but came up short in both games. The Lady Tigers played first and struggled in the first quarter and was held to 6 points scored.

Sasakwa Vikings Battle the Moss Pirates at Home Tuesday

The Sasakwa Vikings had back-to-back home games Monday night and Tuesday night. The Lady Vikings lost two very close games in very tough matchups while the Viking boys won their games by a huge margin. The Lady Vikings started the evening off Tuesday against the (7-3) Moss Lady Pirates.

Varnum traveled to Bulldog Territory Tuesday night to take on 3A Lexington in their second to their last game before the Christmas break. The Varnum Lady Whippets hit the court first to face the Lady Bulldogs. Varnum took control of the game in the first with a 15-4 run to start things off.

OU SOONER WOMEN CHARLOTTE(AP) – Payton Verhulst and Skylar Vann each scored 12 points, and No. 10 Oklahoma beat No. 20 Michigan 72-62 on Tuesday night at the Jumpman Invitational. It was a hard-fought win as the Wolverines tested the Sooners physically and pushed the pace offensively.

The Strother Yellowjackets hosted the Konawa Tigers for their second home game of the season and protected their home court in double wins. The Lady Yellowjackets faced the Lady Tigers first to start the evening off. The first quarter of the game was a tough battle on both sides of the ball.
