Figure Skaters on Airplane That Crashed in Washington, D.C.

ESPN - Figure skaters, their coaches and family members were passengers on an American Airlines jet that collided with an Army helicopter near Ronald Reagan National Airport and crashed into the Potomac River in Washington, D.C., on Wednesday.

Sasakwa Battles Varnum at Home Tuesday Night

The Sasakwa Vikings hosted the number 2 Varnum Whippets Tuesday night in a battle of Class B elites. The Sasakwa Lady Vikings took to the court first to take on the Varnum Lady Whippets. Varnum entered the game 12-7 on the season and the Lady Vikings entered the game 9-8.

Varnum Whippets Travel to Cashion for County Line Basketball Tournament

Varnum travelled to Cashion this past weekend to participate in the Cashion County Line Basketball Tournament. The Varnum Lady Whippets started the tournament off Thursday facing the Fairview Lady Yellowjackets. The Lady Yellowjackets dominated the first half and were up 46-15 at the break.

Strother Yellowjackets Protect Their Home Court Monday

The Strother Yellowjackets hosted the New Lima Falcons Monday night for their next to the last home game of the season. The Lady Yellowjackets kicked off the evening and jumped out to an early lead with 14 points scored in the first to the Falconettes 5.

Bowlegs hosted their 47th Annual Basketball Tournament this past weekend with eight high school teams participating. Seminole county had Bowlegs, Butner, Konawa and New Lima schools participating in the tournament.
