Island Seminole resident Steven Ray Island, 65, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026, in Seminole, Oklahoma. Steve was born on February 24, 1961, in Seminole to Woodrow and Geraldine (Ransom) Island.

Reich Jerry Wayne Reich passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2026 at his home in Sasakwa, Oklahoma at the age of 84. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Clarence Thomas, Ivan, Sherman, Jack, Herbert, Larry, Lawrence, A.H., and Millard Reich.

Tushka Hiloha Hill, Choctaw, Otoe, Apache, passed away July 3, 2026. Tushka is preceded in death by his mom, Jackie Warledo; his mother, Leda Spottedcrow Green; his uncle, Donnie Hill; and his grandmother, Alma Warrior.

Furmon Earl Huff, age 89 and a long-time resident of Maud, Oklahoma passed away July 6, 2026 at Ada Retirement and Care Center in Ada, Oklahoma. Everyone is invited to attend the interment at 10:00 a.m.

Kevin Dean Bruce, 55, of Vian, passed away Friday, July 3, 2026, in Sallisaw. Kevin was born on February 22, 1971, in Prague to Larry Bruce and Patricia Ross. He graduated from Bowlegs High School with the Class of 1990. Kevin worked in the oil field for many years.

David Henry Moore, 80, longtime resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away on July 5, 2026, at Inspire Specialty Hospital in Midwest City, Oklahoma. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m.

George Harjo longtime Oklahoma City resident, passed from this life and went to be with the Lord at his home in Oklahoma City in the early morning hours of Thursday July 2, 2026, at the age of 85. George was born in rural Konawa on March 16, 1941, to Lena Harjo and Lina (Powell) Harjo.

Carpenter Seminole resident Franklin Dean “Frank” Carpenter, 78, passed away Friday, June 26, 2026, in Midwest City, Oklahoma. Frank was born November 9, 1947, in the Riverbend community south of Konawa.

James “Bill” William Butler passed away Monday, June 29, 2026 in Shawnee, Oklahoma at the age of 84. He was born February 8, 1942 in Southwest City, Missouri to John Elisha Butler and Clair Mae (Fields) Butler. He married Sharon Ann Smith on May 26, 1962 in Grove, Oklahoma.

Kelley Lifelong Konawa resident, Darla Jean Shaw Kelley, entered into eternal rest on June 27, 2026 in Seminole, Oklahoma.
