Minnie Ola Hinex passed away August 10, 2026 at the age of 85.

Preceding Minnie in death were her parents, all eight siblings, her husband Joseph Hinex Jr, and son Joseph Hinex III.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law Susie Hinex, children Curtis Hinex (wife Carol), Ethel “Eth” Hinex, and Tonya (husband Pastor Michael Ford); special daughters Dr. Angela Houston, LaShai Rhone and special son Anthony Rhone; five grandchildren, Latasha, Paul, Michael, C.Jay, and Christian; seven great grandchildren, a very special aunt, Christina Hankins, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2026 and from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 21, 2026 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Galilee Baptist Church in Shawnee, OK. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
