SSC Educational Foundation to Host Annual Spring Recognition Banquet

The Seminole State College Educational Foundation will host its 31st Annual Spring Recognition Banquet on Thursday, April 30, at 6:30 p.m. in the Utterback Ballroom of the Enoch Kelly Haney Center on campus. The event will recognize the achievements of alumni, employees and students.

Heyday Agreement Tabled; Special Meeting Called

After a lengthy discussion last Tuesday evening, the Seminole Utilities Authority tabled a proposed agreement with Heyday Entertainment for management of the city-owned family entertainment center.

Seminole Sales Tax Revenue up For Month, Year

The April release from the Oklahoma Tax Commission (OTC) shows the City of Seminole saw an increase in tax revenue in their latest return compared to last month. The release showed this month’s revenue was also higher compared to April last year.

Seminole Man Pleads Guilty to Possession Of Firearms, Ammo

The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced Monday that Tommy Joe Logan, age 52, of Seminole, entered a guilty plea to one count of Felon in Possession of Firearm and Ammunition, punishable by up to 15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
