The Wewoka community, including city officials, gathered in Mutt Miller Park then Westside Park Friday afternoon for ribbon cutting ceremonies on the recently upgraded play spaces. The project was made possible through funding from a G.O. Bond and Gametime Play Systems. The city says the new equipment provides safe, modern play spaces for Wewoka’s children and represents an important investment in the community’s future. The celebration included free hot dogs, and children were given the chance to try out the new playgrounds.
