Seminole County District Basketball Champions

Champs The Strother Yellowjackets won the Class B-I, District 4 Championship over Gans 75-30. District 6 Champs The Varnum Whippets won the Class B-I, District 6 Championship over Wetumka 71-54.

Chris Paul Announces Retirement from NBA After 21 Seasons

ESPN - Chris Paul announced his retirement from the NBA via a social media post Friday. The “Point God” had previously said he would retire at the end of this season, his 21st NBA campaign. “This is it! After 21 years I’m stepping away from basketball,” Paul wrote on Instagram.

Seminole Chieftains Fall at Home Thursday Night to Tecumseh

The Seminole Chieftains hosted the Tecumseh Savages for their last home game of the regular season Thursday night. In between games the Chieftains honored their basketball, cheer, band and pom seniors. The Lady Chieftains and the Lady Savages hit the court first to start the evening.
