HIGH SCHOOL ON SI- Less than a day after Oklahoma Gov. Kevin Stitt publicly called for the elimination of the Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association, state lawmakers introduced legislation that would dissolve the organization and replace it with a new state-run governing body.

MANHATTAN, Kan. Oklahoma State’s women’s basketball team fell to Kansas State, 70-61, on Tuesday night in Big 12 action. With the loss, the Cowgirls moved to 19-7 overall and 8-5 in conference play, while the Wildcats improved to 14-12 and 7-6 against league opponents.

Chieftains Sign Letters of Intent

The Bowlegs Bison hosted the Paoli Pugs for their last basketball game of the regular season at home Friday night. Both Bison and Lady Bison protected their home court over the Pugs.

The Konawa Tigers took on the Stonewall Longhorns for their first game In February at home on Monday night. The Lady Tigers had a very slow start to the game as the Lady Longhorns took the early lead with an 11-3 run in the first.

On Senior Night, the New Lima Falcons hosted the Schulter Bulldogs for their next to the last game of the regular season.
