Dora Laverne (Kean, Willoughby) Jacks was born on January 21, 1928 in McLean, Texas to Albert and Cora Kean. Dora was the oldest of 11 children and grew up in Seminole. Dora passed away on October 11, 2024 at the age of 96 and was surrounded by her family.

Comstock Voletha “Dolly” Marie Comstock age 97, passed away Monday, October 8, 2024 in Holdenville, Oklahoma. She was born May 24, 1927 in Wichita, Kansas to the late Watt Adell Howell and Elizabeth Marie (Sadowsky) Howell. She married Paxton “Sonny” Comstock on July 20, 1945 in Wewoka, Oklahoma.

Neely Wanda Mae (Kinder) Neely, age 89 and a longtime resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away at Ballard Nursing Home in Ada, Oklahoma. A graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m.

Stanberry Seminole resident, Kenny Glenn Stanberry, passed away Friday, October 4, 2024, in Oklahoma City. Kenny, the son of Kenneth Ray and Alene (Griggs) Stanberry, was born May 14, 1947, in Richmond, California. He grew up in the Seminole area and attended Wolf Schools.

Harjo Charlie Jack Harjo, age 51 and a resident of Bethany, Oklahoma passed away October 4, 2024 at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City. A wake service is scheduled for 7:00 p.m.

England Larry George England, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2024, in Seminole at the age of 63. Larry was born in Los Angeles, California on January 24, 1961, to Corena and George England Sr. He graduated from Maud High School with the class of 1979 and later attended Gordon Cooper Vo Tech.

Dobson Sherry A. Dobson, Shawnee resident, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 in Oklahoma City at the age of 62. Sherry was born on May 19, 1962 in Shreveport, LA to Holly and Joani Spangler. She spent her entire adult life in Oklahoma with her husband and his family.

Mullings Dennis Wayne Mullings, Maud resident, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 in Oklahoma City at the age of 76. Wayne was born on January 2, 1948 in Okmulgee, OK to Alvin Lawrence and Nina Mae (McMillin) Mullings.

Carter Kathryn “Kathy” LaVerne (Roberts) Carter passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at the age of 81. Kathryn, daughter of Lee and Lela Roberts was born on August 10, 1943, in Holdenville, Oklahoma.
