Armstead Lyric Renee Armstead age 18, passed away Sunday, September 29, 2024 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her great grandparents Laura and Alfred Campbell; grandmothers, Angie Allen, and Rose Johnson.

Powell Seminole resident, Jeffrey Don Powell, passed away Monday, September 30, 2024, in Oklahoma City. Jeffrey, the son of Samuel and Virginia (Yahola) Powell, was born July 24, 1971, in Wewoka. He attended school in the Wewoka School system. Jeffrey was a fire fighter for the BIA.

Norton Floyd Norton, Seminole resident, passed away on Monday, September 30, 2024 at his home at the age of 89. Floyd was born on July 21, 1935 in Los Angeles, CA to Floyd June and Margret Caroline (Huling) Norton. Floyd married Pat Powell on September 7, 1957.

Susan Mozelle (Dyer) Holtman, age 77 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away at her home September 20, 2024. A private memorial celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date, and cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.

Short Dewey Lonzalo Short, a beloved Daddy, Pop, Papa, Papa George, Father-In-Law, Brother, Uncle, and friend, went to join the love of his life on September 20, 2024, at the age of 85.

Spain Shannan Rene Spain passed away Saturday, September 21st, 2024 at her childhood home in Wewoka, Oklahoma at the age of 49. Shannan was born April 14, 1975 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Billy Spain Sr. and Cynthia (Gooden) Spain. Shannan graduated from Wewoka High School.

Miller Caitlyn Mackenzie Miller age 22, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2024 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. She was born April 3, 2002 in Ada, Oklahoma to Charles Miller and Mischele (Johnson) Frazier. She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Jesse Worley, and Wilbur Johnson.

Laughlin Jackie Van Laughlin passed away September 20th, 2024 at Mercy Health Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 80. Jackie was born March 26th, 1944 in Ada, Oklahoma to Houston Laughlin and Vera Mae (Sanders) Laughlin.

Gaines Paul Gordon Gaines passed away September 11, 2024, at his home in Edmond. He was born to William Gore Gaines and Nan Ragland Gaines in Houston, TX on June 6, 1937. The family soon returned to Seminole County, OK where they resided for many years.
