Freddie L. Jones Jr, 78 lifetime resident of Wewoka, OK passed away Friday, November 27, 2020 in Mercy Hospital at Ada, OK.

He was born May 30, 1942 in Wewoka, OK to Fred and Fleeda Franklin Jones.

He graduated from Wewoka High School then went to College at Henderson Co Junior College in Athens, TX, where he played football. He graduated from East Central University where he obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Education.

He was known by many as Coach Jones. He taught and coached at Seminole, Strothers, Bowlegs, Prague Schools and retired from Hanna School. After retirement he continue to teach part-time at Wes Watkins VOTech. His love for kids was very evident.

He also loved Horse racing and Team roping. Fred roped for years and continued to have his race horses and trainers license until he passed from this life. His best friend for 16 years (his dog Buddy) passed away just a couple weeks prior.

He faithfully attended Texas Banner Church of God in Wetumka, OK and will be missed by his church family.

Freddie is preceded in death by his Father, Mother and sister Jacqueline Jones Wilkens.

He is survived by Reed, Dianna and Faith Voigt who were just like his daughter, son and granddaughter.

Viewing will be Tuesday December 1, 2020 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home from 11am to 8pm. Funeral service will

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel with Pastor Joe Lunsford officiating and burial at Oakwood Cemetery.

Pall bearers will be Brett Seeley, Randal Hallum, Will Crump, Mike Smith, Ed Maxwell, and Kane Tackett.

Honorary pall bearers will be Dr.John Randolph, Dana Harris, Don Qualls and Eddie Hallum.

Services are under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home Wewoka, Oklahoma.
