Elaine Kim Harjo, age 62 and a former resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away July 10, 2022 at Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in Ada, Oklahoma.

A wake service is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 13, 2022 at High Springs Baptist Church in Konawa. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 14, 2022 at the church under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Rev. Kellos Walker will officiate, and burial will follow at Vamoosa Cemetery. Casket bearers are Randall Harjo, Brandon Harjo, Marcus Sandfur, Oscar Gerald Bunner, Reece Harjo, and Devin Sandfur. Honorary bearers are Chad Cole, Chase Cole, Nickolas Sandfur, Jordan Fixico, Shawn Fixico, and Bumper Fixico.

Elaine was born October 1, 1959 in Claremore, Oklahoma to Amon Harjo and Katie Louise (Tiger) Harjo. She received a high school diploma from Bowlegs. Elaine loved beading work and spending time with her grandchildren and her family.

She is survived by two sons, Brandon Gerald Harjo, Sr. and wife, Cara of Henryetta, Oklahoma, and Brent Bon Harjo and Katlin Peterson of Ada, Oklahoma; one daughter, Nakitta Faye Harjo of Ada, Oklahoma; for brothers, Howard Harjo of Claremore, Oklahoma, Darvey Harjo of Shawnee, Oklahoma, Keith Harjo of Konawa, Oklahoma, and Damond Harjo of Konawa, Oklahoma; three sisters, Ruth Ann Bondoni of McLoud, Oklahoma, Clarissa Cole of Wagoner, Oklahoma, and Justine Crowl of Seminole, Oklahoma; and fourteen grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Gerald Harjo; one son, Jim Bob Sandfur; and one sister, Jaime Hawkins.
