Clifford Russell Cooley, age 67 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away at his home Wednesday, March 24, 2021 under Heartland Hospice care.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel of Konawa, and burial will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Rev. Ed Bray and Fr. Joseph Duggempudi will officiate, and casket bearers are Bryant Akerman, Brandon Akerman, Cody Goodrich, Kody Abbott, Donnie Roberts, and Jessie Brogdon. Honorary bearers are Michael Akerman, Phil Harden, and Bob Carter.

Clifford was born April 15, 1953 in Suffern, New York to Clifford Russell Cooley and Anna M (Thorne) Cooley. He married Donna M. (Akerman) Haley on November 6, 1993 in Oklahoma City. He was a high school graduate and was a self-employed photographer. Clifford was also an amateur radio operator and loved playing the piano and trumpet. He was a Boy Scout leader, dance instructor, electronic technician, volunteer firefighter, and a CPR instructor. He loved fishing and camping, and Clifford also liked gemology.

He is survived by his wife, Donna Cooley of the home, and he is preceded in death by his parents.
