Linda Lee Hoover passed away Tuesday, September 29th, 2026 at Heritage Village Nursing Center in Holdenville, Oklahoma at the age of 87.

Linda was born August 31st, 1939 in Fresno, California to Clarence Hoover and Vivian (Lee) Hoover. Linda worked many years at Lilian Russell, Later as an Administrative Assistant for Gil Morgan Golf Course in Wewoka, Oklahoma for many years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Wewoka and was a resident of Wewoka since 1957. Linda enjoyed going to gospel singing’s, going to church, working at the Dr. Gil Morgan Golf Course and enjoyed OU sports.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Vivian Hoover, siblings; Jack Hoover, Ruth Hoover Adamson, Johnny Hoover, Clarence Hoover Jr. and specials friends Phillip Brown and LaWanda Knapp. She is survived by her brother Jerry Hoover of Okmulgee, special friends; Ronnie Brown and wife Jill of Ada, Rachel and Russell Brown of Ada, Juan Ellen Salter of McAlester, Kent Knapp of Arkansas. Linda is survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

Pallbearers are Ronald Brown, Russell Brown, Roger Henry, Christian Salter, Pete Salter and Kent Knapp.

Viewing will be 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, October 4th and 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 5th at Stout-Phillips Funeral Home, Wewoka, OK Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at the First Baptist Church in Wewoka with Rev. Perry Justus officiating.

Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma.

Services are under the direction of Stout-Phillips Funeral Home, Wewoka, Oklahoma.
