Oklahoma State Department of Health Situation Update

Seminole County saw no change in the number of confirmed positive cases of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in the latest report from the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH). Countywide, there have been 23 confirmed positive cases, including two deaths and 19 recoveries. There is one active case in the city of Seminole and one active case in Konawa.

Seminole has seen 11 total cases, one death and nine recoveries. Konawa has reported three positive cases, one death, and one recovery; Wewoka has experienced eight confirmed cases and eight recoveries; and Sasakwa has seen one confirmed positive case and one recovery.

The OSDH has issued the following situation update about COVID-19 in Oklahoma:

As of this advisory, there are 6,229 confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in Oklahoma.

There are four additional deaths; zero of them occurred in the past 24 hours, all died between March 25 – May 25: Two in Tulsa County, one male in the 65 and older age group and one female in the 65 and older age group. Two in Washington County, both females in the 65 and older age group.

There are 322 total deaths in the state.

COVID-19 testing sites are open in multiple cities in Oklahoma as a result of a cross-county, city and state health system partnership. Visit the “Testing Sites” tab on the OSDH website for updated dates and locations. The Seminole County Health Department is testing for COVID-19 by appointment only at 900 Boren Boulevard in Seminole. Contact (405) 382-4369 to schedule an appointment.
