Rafaela “Faye” Ingram, age 78 of Maud, Oklahoma passed away May 23, 2020 at her daughter’s home in Maud.

She was born December 21, 1941 in Santa Rosa, Texas to Carlos and Maximiana Martinez. Faye was married to Floyd Ingram on September 4, 1958 in Gainesville, Texas.

In 1970, they moved to Maud, Oklahoma where she babysit local kids for many years, which allowed her to stay home with her own kids. When her kids reached school age, Faye started working as a cook at Maud Public School Cafeteria, where she worked for 29 years and fed most of the kids that she had babysit with as well as her grandsons! She was well known for her delicious cinnamon and yeast rolls!

Faye is survived by her three daughters, Terrie Goss and husband Steve of Maud, Oklahoma; Connie Ingram of Colleyville, Texas and Shelly Eckerman and husband Tom of Richmond, Virginia; grandsons, Justin Goss and wife Andrea of Newcastle, Oklahoma and Chance Taber of Shawnee, Oklahoma and several nieces, nephews in South and West Texas and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd Ingram and a grandson, Cody Goss.

Graveside services will be held Monday, June 1, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Cummings Cemetery in Maud with Pastor Butch Bradley officiating.

Services are under the direction of OK Cremation & Funeral Home, Oklahoma City.
