STILLWATER – The Oklahoma State football team completed its Orange-White Spring Game Saturday, mid-April at Boone Pickens Stadium, with the Orange Team securing a tight 14-10 victory over the White Team.

Six Seminole County High Schools participated at the Prague Track and Field meet Friday. There were many personal best records and first place finishes.

SOONER WIRE - It’s the final week of the regular season. After this weekend’s action, it’s SEC Tournament time followed by the NCAA Tournament. The SEC title race has been fantastic and the Oklahoma Sooners have put themselves in a familiar position in their first season in the SEC.

Seminole County schools placed and recorded some personal bests at the Prague Track and Field Meet Friday. Participating in the event were the Butner Eagles, the Konawa Tigers, the Maud Tigers, the Strother Yellowjackets, the Wewoka Tigers and the Varnum Whippets.

STILLWATER – Oklahoma State linebacker Nick Martin was selected by the San Francisco 49ers with the 75th overall pick in the third round of NFL Draft Friday night.

The Seminole Chieftain baseball team hosted the Prague Red Devils Friday evening for their senior night. The Chieftains honored Leo Zapata, Lupe Vesquez, Luis Vega, Dontre Garfield, Reece Smith, Landon Bowling and Braeden Kolander before the game.

The Seminole High School tennis team traveled to Western Height’s on Wednesday for their tennis tournament and both the girls and boys’ teams came away as Runner-Up Champions. Every member on the boy’s team and girls’ team medaled in the tournament.

MEMPHIS — After John Konchar’s corner outside attempt hit the side of the rim, Alex Caruso broke away from traffic and had the easy transition bucket when he received the ball from Jalen Williams.
