SSC’s Soccer Keep Their Winning Streak Alive

The Seminole State Soccer team won a huge match against the 11-1-1 tough Rich Mountain Lady Bucks Sunday afternoon and added another shutout to their record. All of the SSC Lady Trojans scores came in the first half of the game.

Sasakwa Vikings Shutout Midway Friday Night at Home

The Sasakwa Vikings posted their second shutout of the season and fifth overall win on the season at home Friday night against the Midway Chargers. The game didn’t last too long as the Vikings took care of business early and kept the scoreboard lit up.

Maud Tigers Win Annual 59 Bowl on Homecoming Night

The Maud Tigers took on the Bowlegs Bison in their Annual 59 Bowl game Friday night and also celebrated their homecoming. Maud Tigers selected Kylee Collins as their homecoming queen and Josh Andes as their homecoming king. In the first quarter, it was a tough battle on both sides.

Seminole Chieftains Struggle with Snyder Sidelined Friday Night

On Friday, October 10th, the Seminole Chieftains hosted the Perkins- Tryon Demons without Head Coach Mike Snyder roaming the sidelines due to a one-game suspension handed out by the OSSAA. Without their main man, Seminole fell behind early and ended up losing by a score of 63-26 to the De-mons.

Sooners Drop Red River Rivalry

DALLAS – Oklahoma fell 23-6 to Texas in the annual Red River Rivalry on Saturday at the Cotton Bowl. The sixth-ranked Sooners (5-1) led 6-3 at halftime behind two Tate Sandell field goals, but Texas (4-2) controlled the second half to hand OU its first loss of the sea-son.
