Short Dewey Lonzalo Short, a beloved Daddy, Pop, Papa, Papa George, Father-In-Law, Brother, Uncle, and friend, went to join the love of his life on September 20, 2024, at the age of 85. After spending days with his son Robin Short, Dewey left this world in the comforting arms of his daughter Nancy and grandson Logan. He had previously been surrounded by family and friends who enjoyed visiting him often. Not only raising six children. Dewey helped raise his baby brother, many of his nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and generally anyone they brought home. Dewey was born on September 15, 1939, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to the late Mount Lonzalo Short and Mary Belle McCullough Short. He was the eldest child and a strong leader to his siblings, David Joe Short, Gaylen Sue Freeman, and Lynn Eldon Short.

Cline Arthur Ray Cline “Bonnie”, 71 years old Maud, OK resident passed away on September 18, 2024 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was born on September 27, 1952 in Claremore, OK to Lester Cline and Nora Williams. A graduate of Maud High School, Art then went to Roswell, NM to further his interest in mechanics. There he then met his future wife, Cheryle Long. The two were married on May 15, 1971. They then moved back to Oklahoma City, OK where he became a mechanic for Hudiburg. The opportunity arose for a job at General Motors in Oklahoma City where he worked as an assembler in the chassis department. Art worked at General Motors from 1979 until retired from there in 2006.
