Read moreCarpenter Mary Kathryn “Kathy” Carpenter passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024 in Prague, Oklahoma at the age of 78. Kathy was born on March 19, 1946 in Oklahoma City. She was the daughter of Jesse and Wilma (Thrasher) Reeves. She grew up in Oklahoma City and was a member of the first ever graduating class at Carl Albert High School in 1964. Kathy was a military spouse for many years and she and her family moved from Oklahoma to Kentucky and then back to Oklahoma. In 1971, she and her family made their home in Little, Oklahoma, where she stayed until 1991, when she met and married, Oran Carpenter and they made their home in Okemah. In 2010, Oran preceded Kathy in death and she moved to Wewoka in 2011 and then settled in Prague in 2014.
