Scott It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Ray Scott beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was born in Shawnee, OK and raised in Seminole, OK, to E.W. Scott and Gladys Mae Scott.

Ray attended Seminole High School and continued his education at East Central University. In 1972, he married the love of his life, Karen K. Scott, in Ada, OK. They shared 53 beautiful years of marriage and resided in Ardmore for over 48 years.

He dedicated his career to Baker Hughes, where he served as a Senior Sales Director, earning the respect and admiration of colleagues and clients alike.

He is survived by his loving spouse, Karen Scott; his sister, Brenda Eatmon, and her husband, David Eatmon, of Edmond; and his children: Debbie Elles of Marietta, with her children Bobby, Billy, Katie, and Hunter; Ray Scott and his Partner, Jason Vongsay, of Dallas; and Bill Scott of Dickson, along with his wife, Sarai Scott, and their children Austin, Dylan, and Madison.

Ray found immense joy in spending time with his grandkids and had a passion for fishing, hunting, golf, reading, and tennis. He loved swimming, staying at the lake house, and watching the Oklahoma Sooners and Dallas Cowboys. His unique sense of humor was evident in his enjoyment of riding his lawnmower into Lake Texoma and watching old Western movies.

A Memorial and Celebration of Life will be held at Little Glasses Resort in Madill, OK on October 19, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. Floral deliveries may be made to 401 Cottonwood, Ardmore, OK 73401.
