The Seminole Splash Pad is back up and running! After experiencing a few technical difficulties in the form of leaks and pump issues earlier this week, the splash pad was forced to briefly shutdown on Tuesday, June 9.

The Seminole Firefighters Association (SFFA) Local 2581 released a statement in response to Seminole City Manager Steve Saxon’s comments in the Seminole Producer on Tuesday, June 9.
Seminole Public Schools are in the process of converting the building formerly used as a temporary high school into office space for administration. They bought the building from the Seminole Area Community Development department by way of a lease purchase in April of 2018.
Tuesday, June 9 at 8:30 p.m., Wewoka High School held their official graduation ceremony. It took place on the football field and graduates were allowed 10 admissiongranting wrist bands to give to loved ones. Those without wrist bands were permitted to sit in the visitor’s section of the stadium.
The risk for serious injury is significant anytime fireworks are handled. That is why individuals need to be especially careful when handling fireworks.
Keep children away Never allow young children to ignite or play with fireworks. Even sparklers can be dangerous.
