Griffin Reelected; Council Race Decided by One Vote

Over 300 voters braved Tuesday’s harsh winter to cast their ballots in two races in the City of Seminole. Jeff Griffin was elected to a second term as mayor by a large margin, but the city council race was decided by only one vote.

Crews with the City of Seminole were out and about as early as 3 a.m. Wednesday morning sanding roads after the latest round of an artic blast that began Monday left local roads icy and dangerous. Below-freezing temperatures are expected to hang around for the next several days.
