Tickets on Sale for ‘World Premiere One-Acts’ March 5-7

Tickets are now on sale for OBU’s production of “World Premiere One-Acts.” Performances are scheduled for March 5 and 6 at 7:30 p.m. and March 7 at 2:30 p.m. All performances will take place in Sarkeys Black Box Theater on the OBU campus in Shawnee.

For one Oklahoma County 4-H’er, a series of life-altering events made a big impact on him. In 2014, major health issues and surgeries for his sister led to her being placed in hospice care. A few months later his home burned down.

Ada Lois Sipuel Fisher was a key figure in the Civil Rights Movement. Ada helped to desegregate Langston University and Oklahoma University. Ada was born on February 8th, 1924 in Chickasaw, Oklahoma. She graduated as valedictorian from Lincoln High school.
