A new officer has joined the ranks of the Seminole Police Department, but it’s going to be a while before she’s ready to help fight crime. Raven, an 18-month-old female Dutch Shepherd, arrived at police headquarters this week and began training for her new role as a K-9 Officer.

In honor of National Police Week, Acting U.S. Attorney Christopher J. Wilson recognizes the service and sacrifice of federal, state, local, and Tribal law enforcement. This year, the week is observed Sunday, May 9 through Saturday, May 15, 2021.

Justice Public School is currently accepting applications for student transfer for the 2021-2022 school year. Transfer applications can be submitted to the principal or superintendent’s offices between the hours of 8:00 am and 12:00 noon. Special arrangements can be made for other times.
