Last week Varnum Elementary students planted new flowers in the flower beds in the playground behind the school. Mrs. Shepherd's 1st grade students and Mrs. Sensabaugh's 3rd grade students make up many of the students pictured below. The planting project was in celebration of both Earth Day and Whippet Clean-up Day. All the students had a fun time planting different types of flowers for the school.
