OU to Celebrate the Inauguration of President Joseph Harroz, Jr.

This fall, the University of Oklahoma will proudly celebrate the inauguration of Joseph Harroz Jr. as the university’s 15th president in a number of events designed to showcase the unique OU spirit and the university’s bright future. The entire OU community is invited to participate.

Burglary Charges Filed After Fishy Alibi Falls Through

The evidence failed to back up the alibi of an alleged burglary suspect claiming he injured himself fishing. Noah Jonathon Brandon Hodges, 35, Holdenville, was instead arrested and charged with Burglary in the Second Degree.

State Health Dept. Reports Surge in COVID-19 Cases

Health officials reported this week that the number of reported coronavirus cases in Oklahoma has increased by 80% for the week ending July 17 and the seven-day average number of cases has nearly tripled in the past two weeks.
