The Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs (ODVA) and The Norman Veterans Home (NVH) were pleased to announce Wednesday that after years of loyal service, Sarge, the furry and faithful friend of The Norman Veterans Home, is officially hanging up his leash and embarking on a well-deserved retirement at the age of 14. Sarge, who has been a cherished member of the NVH family since 2012, is ready to trade in his workdays for endless belly rubs and some long overdue naps.
