City of Konawa, PD Sued Over Man’s Death

The family of a man who took his own life last year is suing the City of Konawa and its police department, alleging that his death was due to the negligence and misconduct of the police chief and a police officer.

Moore Man Pleads Guilty to Seminole County Burglary

The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced Monday that Nariah Demournay Jones, age 23, of Moore, Oklahoma, entered a guilty plea to one count of Burglary in the Second Degree in Indian Country, punishable by up to 7 years in prison.
