Cole Leading Push to Uncover Indian Boarding School History

(Editor’s note: There were two prominent Indian boarding schools in Seminole County, the Mekusukey Academy (or Mekasukey) for boys and Emahaka Mission for girls). Oklahoma has been home to 76 Indian boarding schools, more than any other state in the nation.
