Sex Offender Pleads Guilty In Failure to Register Case

The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma has announced that Brandon Scott Waldon, age 44, of Bowlegs, entered a guilty plea to one count of Failure to Register as Sex Offender, punishable by up to ten years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

OK House to Participate in Redistricting Data Program

Preparation is underway for the 2030 Census, a headcount of every U.S. resident that forms the framework for billions of dollars of federal funding. The Oklahoma House of Representatives is working with the U.S. Census Bureau as part of the Redistricting Data Program to assist in this effort.

Recreational License Sales Up in Okla.

Revenue from recreational annual license sales was up 9% in the first half of this fiscal year versus the same period in the previous fiscal year, according to a presentation made to the Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Commission during its regular meeting Feb. 9 in Oklahoma City.

Manager of Local Eatery Elected to 2026 ORA Board

Amember of the management team of Boom-A-Rang Diner, which has a Seminole location, was among those elected to serve on the Oklahoma Restaurant Association (ORA) Board. The elections were held at the ORA’s annual meeting on Feb. 10 at the Embassy Suites- Oklahoma City Northwest.
