In loving memory and with grateful hearts for a life well lived, we celebrate the life of Reid Everett Warrenburg, who entered his eternal home on July 26, 2026, at the age of 70. He was surrounded by the love of his family and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Reid Warrenburg passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026, in Okemah, Oklahoma, at the age of 70. Reid, the son of J.D. and Dean Warrenburg, was born on September 17, 1955, in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He graduated from Strother High School with the Class of 1974. During his senior year, he attended Gordon Cooper Technology Center, where he earned his electrician’s license. He went on to spend many years working as an electrician and in the oilfield, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication. Throughout his life Reid took great pride in providing for his family through honest, hard work.

Above all, his greatest joy came from spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was a devoted father, brother, and Papa. Those who knew him will remember his kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering dedication to his family. His love and guidance will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

He was preceded in death by his father, J.D. Warrenburg; his mother, Dean Warrenburg; his brothers, Mike Warrenburg and Jim Warrenburg; his granddaughter, Kiley Kean. Former wife, Debra Carter (Lockeby), mother of his daughter Shawna.

Those left to cherish his memory include, his daughters and sons-inlaw, Lori and Toby Wells of Seminole, Mandi and James Perez of Moore and Shawna and Chad Trahan of Shawnee; His beloved grandchildren, Javi and Victoria Perez, Logan and Shylah Perez, Lexi Perez, Mason Perez, Tagen Kean and Mariann Lawson, Kyle Wells, Brooklyn Wells, Gage and Kenzie Trahan and Cade Trahan; Great-grandchildren Axel Kean, Pryor Trahan, and Warrenburg Foster Trahan. He is also survived by former wife, Sherry LeFevre (Fowler), mother of Mandi and Lori, and his sister-in-law, Gwen Warrenburg and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and cherished friends.

Viewing will be held from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 30, 2026, with family gathering to greet friends and loved ones from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Cooper Funeral Home in Tecumseh, Oklahoma. Funeral services celebrating Reid’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 31, 2026, at Dale Church of Christ in Dale, Oklahoma, with David Cannon officiating. Burial will follow at Little Cemetery under the direction of Cooper Funeral Home in Tecumseh, Oklahoma.

Casket bearers will be James Perez, Javi Perez, Logan Perez, Mason Perez, Tagen Kean, and Bo Warrenburg. Honorary bearers will be Toby Wells and Kyle Wells.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who offered prayers, love, and support during this difficult time. They also express their sincere appreciation to the compassionate caregivers of Colonial Park Manor in Okemah and Vital Caring Hospice for the kindness and care they provided.

Though Reid will be deeply missed, his love and legacy will remain in the hearts of his family forever. Until we meet again, we take comfort in knowing he is at peace in Heaven.
