Taylor Jefferson, Georgia resident Sue Anne Taylor passed away on July 18, 2026 in Georgia at the age of 74. Sue was born on January 15, 1952 in Seminole, OK to Leslie Lee and Catherine (Cummings) West. She lived in Seminole until she was 36. Then she moved to Atlanta, GA and then to Jefferson, GA. On February 17, 1979 Sue married William T. Taylor Jr. in Seminole, OK. She devoted many years to caring for babies and children which was a work she treasured dearly. In her spare time Sue enjoyed shopping.

Sue is survived by her husband, William “Bill” T. Taylor of Jefferson, GA; brother, Bill West of Seminole, OK; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and many other family and friends.

Sue was preceded in death by her mother, Catherine A. West; father, Leslie L. West; brother, Leslie L. West Jr.; sisters, Edith Carol West and Debbie D. West.

Viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 27, 2026 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole, OK with Pastor Jeff Nance officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
