Vivian Kathleen “Kathy” (Phillips) Nail, age 70 and a resident of Sasakwa, Oklahoma, passed away July 21, 2026 at Heritage Nursing Home in Holdenville, Oklahoma.

Funeral services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Vamoosa Baptist Church under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa. Rev. Bruce Sanders will officiate, and burial will follow at Cross Roads Cemetery near Sasakwa, Oklahoma. The family will receive guests at the funeral home in Konawa from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Friday evening.

She is survived by her loving husband of fifty years, Charles Wayne Nail of the home; two sons, Heath Nail of St. Louis, Oklahoma, and Charles “Brett” Nail and wife, Tiffany of Konawa, Oklahoma; one brother, Mitch Phillips of Oklahoma City; one sister, Marsha (Phillips) Nail Bronniman and Tom McLain of Summerville, South Carolina; eight grandchildren, and two great grandsons on the way.

She was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Dorfi (Smith) Tyler and John W. Tyler; paternal grandparents, Goldie Mae (Scroggins) Phillips and Hubert N. Phillips; and parents, Emozett and Bill Phillips.
