Audry Chandler
Chandler Audry Rosalie (Dickson) Chandler, lovingly known as “Rosie,” passed away peacefully on June 3, 2026, at the age of 84. Born on November 19, 1941, in Fairview, Oklahoma.
Rosie lived a life marked by faith, devotion to family, and service to others.
Rosie was the beloved daughter of Raymond Dickson and Vera Mae (Brownfield) Dickson. She was raised in Oklahoma and remained deeply connected to her family, community, and Christian faith throughout her life.
A devoted homemaker, Rosie dedicated herself to caring for her family and creating a warm, welcoming home for all who entered it. She was also a faithful volunteer at El Shaddai Church, where she generously gave her time, talents, and compassion in service to her church family and community. Her quiet strength, servant’s heart, and unwavering faith were an inspiration to all who knew her.
Rosie was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond Dickson and Vera Mae Dickson (Brownfield); her brother Larry Dickson and her daughter in law, Cynthia Chandler.
She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Billy J. Chandler; her sons, Billy Ray Chandler and wife Tammy, and Raymond Charles Chandler; her daughter, Audry Ann Mefford and husband Lee, sisters Ramona Kay Smith, Linda Joy McCoy and husband Bill and Brother Milton Dickson and wife JoAnn. She also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, extended family members, dear friends, and her church family who will forever cherish her memory.
Rosie will be remembered for her gentle spirit, kind heart, steadfast faith, and deep love for her family. She found joy in helping others, spending time with those she loved, and serving the Lord. Her legacy of love, generosity, and devotion will continue to live on in the lives of all who were blessed to know her.
No services are planned at this time. Her family finds comfort in knowing she has been welcomed into the arms of her Savior and reunited with loved ones who have gone before her. The family would like to give special thanks to Emerald Hospice and all that gave care to her.
