Seminole, OK resident Albert Leon “Lonnie” Kean passed away on Friday, April 24, 2026 in Seminole at the age of 72. Lonnie was born April 3, 1954 in Seminole to Albert Forest and Cora (Edney) Kean. He was a 1972 graduate of Seminole High School. He married Kimberly Ann Decker on May 25, 1971 in Seminole. Lonnie worked as a crane operator for CMI / Terex Corp.

Lonnie loved the outdoors. In his younger years he enjoyed river rafting with friends and family. Lonnie found great joy in ATV and four wheeling trips, camping, fishing, boating and coon hunting. He was always willing to step in and help others fix things.

Lonnie is survived by his wife of 55 years, Kimberly Ann Kean of Seminole; son, Kyle Kean of Seminole; brother and sister-in-law, Carroll and Barabara Kean; sisters, Sue Lemaster and Glenda Roland; five grandchildren, Cora Wintersheid, Rannie Deines, Leon Kean, Tagen Kean, Gemma Kean; eight great grandchildren and many other family and friends.

Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Cora Kean; son, Kelly Leon Kean; brothers, Kenneth Kean, Kean Jerry Kean, Eldon Kean, Melvin Kean, Jimmy Kean and sisters, Barbara Kean and Dora Jacks.

Those serving as casket bearers will be Tagen Kean, Leon Kean, Kenny Deines, Aaron Wintersheid, Randy Lehman and Bentley Wintersheid. Honorary casket bearer will be Gerald Peeler.

Viewing will be from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 27, 2026 and from 8:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, 2026 at Little Cemetery with Pastor Jeff Nance officiating. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
