Betty Davis

Davis Betty Rae Davis passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2026 in Seminole, Oklahoma at the age of 91. She was born September 24, 1934 in Jacktown, Oklahoma to William “Bill” Floyd and Lillie Ida (Gilbreth) Floyd. She married Bobby Gene Davis on June 21, 1952 in Prague, Oklahoma and to this union was 6 children.

Betty attended Immanuel Fellowship Church in Seminole, OK. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, poetry, ceramics, knitting, crocheting, writing, and doing mission work.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bobby Davis; siblings, Jackie Ware, Enos Floyd, May Griffin, Louise Hall, and Nora Barnhart.

Betty is survived by her children, Rebecca Quisenberry of Seminole, OK, Bobby Davis and wife Shirley of Seminole, OK, Ronnie Davis of Seminole, OK, Deborah Davis of Seminole, OK, Patricia Farris of Seminole, OK, Elizabeth Templeton and husband Tony of Pink, OK; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, April 2, 2026 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel in Wewoka, OK with Steven Quisenberry officiating, assisted by Joshua Davis. Interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, OK.

Pallbearers: Matt Davis, John Bunch, Chris Galbraith, Quinton Quisenberry, Michael Quisenberry, Bobby Estep, Davey Haggard.
