Everett Evans, Jr.

Seminole, OK resident Everett “Junior” Evans, Jr. passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026 in Shawnee at the age of 88.

Junior is survived by his wife of 67 years Carolyn Sue Evans; two daughters, Tammy Evans Hall and Kari (Karen) Evans and many other family and friends.

Junior was preceded in death by his parents; infant son, Keith Evans and siblings, Raymond Evans, Glenn Evans, Helen Adams, Lucille Gist, Grace Hargis, Betty Jo Best, and Margaret Schroeder.

Viewing will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Sunday, March 15, 2026 at Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.

Funeral services will be held March 16th, 11:00 a.m. at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Seminole. Evans Bro. Tim Emmons will be officiating. Interment will follow at Little Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home in Seminole, OK.
