Ron Good

Ron Good, 80, of Seminole, Oklahoma made his journey to be with his Lord in Heaven on March 3, 2026, in Oklahoma City surrounded by those who loved him. Born Ronnie Ray Good on April 26, 1945 in Wichita, Kansas to Dell and Jean Poole Good. Ron graduated from Wewoka High School in 1963 and went on to earn an associate degree. Ron served in the Army National Guard, was a fireman in Wewoka, worked in the clothing industry, then went on to work at several large car dealerships in Oklahoma City, retiring as service manager for Smicklas Chevrolet in 2009. Ron then moved to Seminole, Oklahoma.

Ron married Debbie Formby on November 4, 1974 in Oklahoma City. They later went their separate ways, only to reunite and remarry on May 24, 2015.

Ron is survived by his wife, Debbie Good; sister Vicki Newman, Seminole; brother Mike Good and his wife Mona, Seminole; brother Mark Good, Good Seminole; five stepchildren, 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and a host of loving nieces and nephews.

Ron is preceded in death by his parents, Dell and Jean Good; Maternal grandparents Albert Poole and Walsie Selby; and Paternal grandparents Roy and Fannie Good.

Ron’s love in life was always his animals, fishing and OSU sports. He will always be remembered for the “Big White Dog”, for his love of white shepherds.

Family services will be held at a later date. Cremation is under the direction of Oklahoma City Cremation.
