Ramona Ward

Ward Ramona Lee Ward age 71, went home to be with the Lord Friday, August 29, 2025 in Waxahachie, Texas. She was born July 6, 1954 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Wilbur Edward Starr and Mattie Marie (Pope) Starr.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Alfred Morris Ward; son, Michael Ray Starr; siblings, Reuben Starr, Robert Starr, Raymond Starr, Robert Fields, Darlene Fields, and Helen Pendley.

Ramona is survived by her siblings, Robin Starr of Wetumka, OK, Regana Sellars and husband Tony of Red Oak, TX, Richard Starr and wife Debra of Mississippi, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 6, 2025 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel in Wewoka, Oklahoma with Pastor David Little officiating. Interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
