Renita Jo Beavers passed away Sunday, September 20, 2026 in Wewoka, Oklahoma at the age of 60.

She is preceded in death by her father; sisters, Priscilla Beavers, Carolyn Beavers, Paulette Beavers; brothers, Paul Island, and Eugene Zolicoffer.

Renita is survived by her mother, Jo Ann Island of OKC, OK; son, Kenneth Shaw of Wewoka, OK; siblings, Patricia Island of OKC, OK, Cynthia Beavers of OKC, OK, Gloria Johnson of OKC, OK, Linda Island of OKC, OK, Ralph Beavers and wife Michelle of Bartlesville, OK, Keith Beavers and wife Susand of TX, James Beavers Jr and wife of Illinois, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at St. Paul Baptist Church in Wewoka, Oklahoma with Pastor Tony Randolph and Pastor David Flemming officiating. Interment to follow at Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
