Eugene Earl Clark, 66, of Seminole, Oklahoma, passed away in Grand Rapids, Michigan on September 22, 2026 after a brief illness.

Born October 17, 1959 to James Edward Clark and Eula Mae Blackburn Clark. He attended Mustang High School, Mustang, Oklahoma, a member of the class of 1977.

He lived in Mustang briefly after high school and moved in 1981 to McAlester, Oklahoma where he met and married the love of his life, Lena Faye Wilson. He resided in and called Seminole County, Oklahoma his home. He was employed for many years by Beckett Brothers Flooring in Dallas Texas as a master craftsman and an expert at creating beautiful basketball court flooring. He traveled around the country installing many basketball courts. He was an excellent fruit and vegetable gardener, love to fish and camp and Lake Eufaula was his peaceful spot to retreat when life got rough.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his loving mother, Eula Mae Clark, of Oklahoma City, his sister, Verba Klinsick of Yukon, his forever sweetheart, Lena Faye Wilson-Clark, his favorite cousin, Beau Anderson, and his loving Aunt, Elaine Blackburn.

He is survived by his nephew, John Matthew Clark and his wife, Jessica of Grand Rapids, his son, Jacob Clark of Yukon, his daughter, Dr. Shelly Maxey of McAlester, his daughter Desarae Mellow of Mustang, his grandchildren, Dylan, Mariah, Jacob and Luke, his sister and lifelong friend, Tawana Clark-Walker of Shawnee, OK, his brothers, James Clark of Yukon, John Clark of Alliance, Ohio, his Uncle Jesse Blackburn and Aunt Mary Blackburn of Sasakwa, and many cousins and life long Mustang, Oklahoma friends.

He was loved by many, left memories with many and will be missed by many that truly loved his soul.

A graveside celebration of life will be held at Vamoosa Cemetery with a family gathering at the Sasakwa Community Center, at a later date. Pastor Gary Choate officiating and Dr. Shelly Maxey, eulogy and guest speaker.
