The Little River Conference Baseball Tournament This Week

Bill Anderson Sports Editor The Little River Conference Baseball Tournament started a day earlier than originally scheduled and started on Wednesday instead of Thursday. The Tournament had two locations: Moss and Varnum. At Moss on Wednesday, the Sasakwa Viking faced the Paden Pirates.

Local Seminole County Schools Compete at Konawa Track Meet

Konawa hosted its Annual Track ad Field event Tuesday with 17 High Schools participating. Seminole County schools that participated were Butner, Konawa, Maud, Strother and Varnum. In the girls’ team results, Varnum placed second with 97 points.

Fire Stay Undefeated With Big Win Over CYM

For the third straight game, the Potawatomi Fire scored at least 140 points as they beat the CYM Leopards 145-105 on Saturday night. The win was the Fire’s 57th straight win inside Fire-Lake Arena. “When we were focused, I thought we played pretty well,” said Fire head coach Mark Dannhoff.

Konawa Hosts its Annual Track and Field Event Tuesday
