Konawa Hosts its Annual Track and Field Event Tuesday
Bill Anderson Sports Editor Konawa held their Annual Track and Field Invitational Tuesday with approximately 17 High Schools participating.
Five Seminole County high schools participated: Butner, Maud, Konawa, Strother and Varnum.
The Konawa boys came in second overall in the event with
74 points followed by Varnum with 56 points. Butner came in tenth, Strother eleventh and Maud fourteenth.
The Varnum Whippet girls came in second overall in the meet with 97 points, Konawa tied for sixth, Strother came in tenth, followed by Butner.
