Esther Lee Harjo passed away Sunday, May 24, 2026 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma at the age of 80. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Sebert Harjo; daughter, Tonya Denise Walton; son, Stefan Lee Harjo; grandson, Trevor Blake Robertston and great grandson, Kory Wilmouth.

Bishop It is with a heavy heart that we announce the unexpected passing of LaVere Bishop, 96 of Seminole, OK on May 23, 2026 from a cardiac arrest. She was born on May 27, 1929 in Oklahoma City to Myrtle and Clare Williams.

Hicks Larry Bryant Hicks, 79, passed away on May 23, 2026, in Seminole, Oklahoma. He was born on May 11, 1947, in Duncan, Oklahoma, to Oscar Bryant Hicks and Ada Jo (Huff) Hicks. Larry was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great- grandfather, brother, veteran, and friend.

Curtis “Verl” Mathews passed away on May 16, 2026 surrounded by his family and friends. Verl was born in Oklahoma City on September 10, 1958 to Curtis Dean and Peggy Jane Mathews. He attended and graduated from McCloud High School in 1976.

Leitka Albuquerque resident, Dr. Eugene Leitka passed away Monday May 11, 2026. Eugene was born on October 15, 1929 in Seminole, Oklahoma. Eugene served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War from 1951 - 1955. In 1958 he married Jo Ann Green of Idabel Oklahoma.

Maretha Opal (Fuchs) Kerezman, age 80 and a resident of Macomb, Oklahoma passed away May 14, 2026 at her home. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m.

Wewoka resident Jena Renia (Burnett) Newell, 56, passed away Sunday, May 17, 2026, in Oklahoma City. Renia, the daughter of Jerry and Julie Ann (Bowen) Burnett, was born February 3, 1970, in Enid, Oklahoma.

Roger Sherman Carter, born January 5, 1954 in Seminole, Oklahoma, passed away May 11, 2026. Roger was preceded in death by his parents Willie Bob Carter and Elfreeda LaRue Carter and by his sisters, Debra Carter-Reedand Wyleda “Kaye” Carter.

Goines Seminole, OK resident Johnny Lee Goines, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026 in Oklahoma City at the age of 85.
