Joseph “Joey” Larry Houck Jr., Newalla resident, passed away at his home on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at the age of 58. Joey was born on December 16, 1966 in Fallon, NV to Joseph Larry Houck Sr. and Carole (Pitman) Houck. He grew up in Seminole and later moved to Washington, OK.

Walker Ricky Leon Walker, age 67 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away September 25, 2025 at his home. A graveside memorial service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 6, 2025 at Dora Cemetery. Cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.

Seminole resident, Wendell Burden, 79, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2025, in Seminole. Wendell, the son of Bennie and Marie (House) Burden, was born February 3, 1946, in Poteau, Oklahoma. He was a man of many skills, but one of his greatest talents was carpentry.

Finke Margaret Anne Finke, Seminole, OK resident, passed away on Tuesday, September 23, 2025 in Shawnee at the age of 90.

Harjo William “Willie” Roy B. Harjo passed away on Friday, September 20, 2025 in Oklahoma City. Willie was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Sam, Lucy and Wallace. Willie is survived by his son Austin B. Harjo of Okmulgee; stepson Wayne Carpitcher; siblings Mody and Lisa B.

Ramsey Don Ramsey, born October 30, 1932, in Wewoka, to Raymond and Mabel (Bruce) Ramsey, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2025, in Seminole. Don was the third of six children. He was schooled at Tate Elementary, south of Wewoka, and graduated from Wewoka High School.

Thirkield O’Guinn, age 95, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her parents Odie and Icelena Wortham, husband, Olean O’Guinn; one grandson; siblings, Namond Wortham, James Wortham, William Wortham, LD Wortham, and Edna Robins.

Mullen Michael Roy Mullen, Wolf resident, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2025 in Ada at the age of 57.

Woods Cynthia Ann Woods was born to Riley and Mary Martin on June 12, 1955, in Dallas, Texas. She grew up under the wide Texas sky with her younger brothers, Mike and Matt. It was under that same sky she met the love of her life, Steven Earl Woods.

Eloina Lydia “Renee” Rice, Seminole area resident, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025 at Gospel of Life Disciples + Dwellings in Moore at the age of 55.
