Thirkield O’Guinn, age 95, passed away Sunday, September 14, 2025 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

She is preceded in death by her parents Odie and Icelena Wortham, husband, Olean O’Guinn; one grandson; siblings, Namond Wortham, James Wortham, William Wortham, LD Wortham, and Edna Robins.

Thirkieldissurvivedbyher children, Cleophus O’Guinn and spouse Edie, Melvin O’Guinn and wife Rosetta; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; brother, Jimmy Wortham of Okemah, OK; sister, Caldonia Gilbert of Arbeka, OK, along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, September 22, 2025 at Stout-Phillips Funeral Chapel in Wewoka, Oklahoma with Rev. C.E. Cochran officiating. Interment to follow at Westwood Cemetery in Wewoka, Oklahoma.
