Ward Ramona Lee Ward age 71, went home to be with the Lord Friday, August 29, 2025 in Waxahachie, Texas. She was born July 6, 1954 in Seminole, Oklahoma to Wilbur Edward Starr and Mattie Marie (Pope) Starr.

A graveside service for Ollie Mae Rodgers, under the direction of Fisher Funeral Home, will be held Saturday, September 6 at 1 p.m. at Little Cemetery in Seminole. Full obituary to follow.

Seminole resident, Maurice “Bolo” Spencer, 59, passed away Friday, August 29, 2025, at his home. He was preceded in death by his two wives, Angie and Ann, and by his parents.

Strickland Walter Floyd Strickland, age 92, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully at home on August 22, 2025, surrounded by his loving family and dear friends. Walter was born on December 12, 1932, in LeFlore, Oklahoma. He was one of the youngest of a large and devoted family.

Brooks Lt. Deputy Gary Leon Brooks, Wewoka resident, passed away on Thursday, August 21, 2025 in Oklahoma City at the age of 56. Gary was born on July 14, 1969 in Seminole, OK to Avery Leon and Roberta Virginia (Lane) Brooks.
