Thrisa “Ralene” Van-Horn, age 54, of Shawnee, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on October 9th at SSM in Shawnee, surrounded by loved ones. She was born on February 10th, 1971 at Mission Hill to William “Jackie” & Thrisa Marie “Terry” Robertson.

Richard Lee Allen was born September 23 1955 at the Seminole Municipal Hospital and died October 4, 2025 at his residence North of Seminole. Richard graduated from Varnum High School in 1973. He was employed by U.S. Postal Service as a mail carrier in Seminole, and later Oklahoma City.

Seminole, OK resident Bobby Wayne Turner passed away on Sunday, October 12, 2025 in Seminole at the age of 66. Bobby is survived by his three sons Wesley Don Turner of Seminole, Eric J.

Betty Jean Mason Martin, Seminole resident, passed away on Thursday, October 9, 2025 in Oklahoma City at the age of 81.

Former Seminole resident Melissa Lynn Harjo, 53, of Lawrence, Kansas, passed away Saturday, October 5, 2025, in Lawrence. Melissa, the daughter of Leonard and Samaria (Johnson) Harjo, was born April 1, 1972, in Oklahoma City.

Pierce Charles Richard Pierce, Shawnee resident, passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at the age of 92. He was born on January 10, 1933 in Seminole, OK to William Edgar and Lillie Ellen (Teague) Pierce. He grew up and spent most of his life in the Wolf and Maud areas.

Justin Denver Cheyenne Wood, age 40 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma passed away from this life September 27, 2025 near Maud, Oklahoma. A memorial service is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. Friday, October 10, 2025 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel in Konawa. Rev.

Nan Carol (Street) Fowler, 91, of Shawnee, Oklahoma was surrounded by her loved ones when she went to sleep and woke up in Heaven on Friday, October 3, 2025. She was born on September 19, 1934 in Yazoo City, Mississippi to Frank and Louise Street.

Jenny Warden Pratka, of Prague, OK, passed away on September 28, 2025, at the age of 73. She was born on July 14, 1952, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, to Robert “Short” Warden and Katherene Suggs Warden. Jenny graduated with the Prague High School Class of 1970, a proud member of the basketball team.

Maud resident Kathy Ann Whitson, lovingly known to many as “Big Kat,” passed away on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City at the age of 71.
